This is the second and last "love song" I've written, and has much more of a mellow feel to it than the first (I'd Give It All). This song was written because "I'd Give It All" didn't match the type of music someone was into, so I decided to take a second shot at it. This song is also much more straight forward and simple than the other.
UPDATE: Currently working on a new version.

LYRICS:
Hold you tight through all the cold winter nights
Going back to our youth, and fly away like a kite
As you walk on past me I know that something’s right
I try my hardest to do at least the most that I can
But it’s never enough, I’m always stuck in the sand
I hope that one day you’ll know the truth is all in my hands
Care for you
Follow through
I know you knew
Farther than before
Love placed strong
On and on
Nowhere I’ve gone
Hope gains more
No need to talk, your personality says it all
I need to get back up, you said it’s not time to fall
Nervous I just hide off in the shadows of the hall
Confused to wonder through this broken path
Where there’s never any aftermath
I’ll keep you sheltered from the nightmares’ wrath
Care for you
Follow through
I know you knew
Farther than before
Love placed strong
On and on
Nowhere I’ve gone
Hope gains more
